SkySchool operates in Wiltshire in July and Oxfordshire in August. Both locations are ideal for Taster and Beginner courses, however for Intermediate courses we recommend Italy or Spain where the weather is more consistent. Taster Paramotoring Courses in the UK with SkySchool1. Taster Courses: Open Sky Level

The Taster courses are a great experience for anyone interested in Paramotoring and make a great gift. They are designed for complete beginners and follow the first few days of the APPI PPG syllabus. They take place over weekends and are designed to give students a good understanding of the sport. The 1 day course costs £175 and the 2 day course costs £275. To book or ask a question contact us.

2. Beginner Course: Adventure Pilot Level

The Beginner course, which lasts 6 days, is designed for complete beginners and consists of the first half of the APPI PPG syllabus. Training consists of ground handling, motor usage instruction, a basic online theory course and normally culminates in at least 1 solo flight. At the end students can progress on to the 6 day Intermediate Course and we recommend they do this in Italy. The Beginner course costs £845 with all kit, fuel and log books included. 3. Intermediate Course: Pilot Level

Beginner Paramotoring Courses in the UK with SkySchoolThe Intermediate course, which lasts 6 days, is designed for those who have completed the Beginner course or Paraglider pilots with more than 20 hours experience. It follows the APPI PPG Pilot Syllabus, consisting of low level flying, precision landings, cross country tasks and more, as well as an online theory course covering meteorology, air law, navigation and more. Students should attain the APPI PPG Pilot license and be ready to fly without an instructor on their own kit. The Intermediate course costs £845 with all kit, fuel and log books included. 4. Pilot Course: Pilot Level

The Pilot course, which lasts 12 days and can be split between the UK and Italy, is designed for complete beginners and Paraglider Pilots with less than 20 hours. It follows the APPI PPG Pilot Syllabus and is made up of the Beginner and Intermediate courses described above. At the end students should attain the APPI PPG Pilot license and be ready to fly without an instructor on their own kit. The Pilot course costs £1,395 with all kit, fuel and log books included. Further Information

Our Wiltshire courses take place at East Lawn Farm in July and our Oxfordshire courses take place at Shenington Gliding Club in August. For accommodation in both locations we suggest you use Airbnb, Booking.com or search online for other options. All UK courses start at 09:30 on a Saturday and end in the late afternoon/early evening depending upon the weather. Please bring appropriate footwear (ankle supporting boots are recommended), water, food, suncream and suitable outdoor clothing, including a jacket and trousers as it can get cold while flying.
